This little fellow surprised us all and came a month early!.. & just 4 pounds… It was so nice when they finally got out of NICU and I was able to take his photos.. He was so cuddly and tiny.

I met Ron and Liz earlier this year… We went for coffee, as I usually suggest to get to know my future bride and groom and their wedding details. Right away I knew this was going to be an awesome wedding day.. The couple had thought of every last detail!.. all the way down to a bright blue tandem bike for our photos.. It was the best prop yet!. It was a gorgeous summer day and the couple said their vows on the Patio at Louis. It was followed by our photos on campus and then a fabulous reception dinner and party!. For me personally!. My little Oliver is ONE… A few weeks ago I posted a sneak peak of his un-smashed cake smash.. so now it is time to debut the rest of the session. I have to embrace a house full of boys.. So I thought what better way to celebrate a first birthday then a Football themed birthday!. Especially since the football season has just begun I ordered the perfect football cake from Candy & Cake, a few cute outfits from Blue Monkey Design and thought up a few perfect backdrops for the session… Now if only the birthday boy would have cooperated and smashed his cake… haha Happy Birthday to my little man!
This wedding season has been filled with so many wonderful couples, and Lana and Mike are no exception. We met up last year to talk about wedding details.. We shot engagement photos late into the fall & even though it was a bit chilly we had an awesome time. Mike even brought out the Harley.. It is QUITE the bike and of course we incorporated it into the photos!. Half way through the year I got a call from Lana saying that their venue had double booked.. (sad to say, but it is not uncommon for this place…). So they were re-allocated to the Wild Life Federation.. which was the first time I had ever heard of the place. It ended up be an awesome change. Instead we got a beautiful outdoor ceremony, just on the outskirts of the city.. and the Reception was right there too!. It was a gorgeous day, yet again. Lana looked amazing and the whole day was just beautiful. I first met these two when we shot some engagement photos by the river last fall. I knew right away that they were completely head over heels for each other.. and that their wedding was going to be a fun filled celebration. It was exactly that! It was a beautiful summer day in small town Saskatchewan. The sky was blue and the canola fields were glowing yellow. After their ceremony at the hall we headed to a few spots for photos.. Their families farm, and this dirt road with surrounding yellow fields. (It was so picturesk!)
