Backyard Wedding Shower – Sydney & Jim

A few weeks ago I popped over to Sydney’s wedding shower, hosted by one of my lovely friends, Michelle (she is the maid of honour). Like me, she loves planning beautiful parties. She had a gorgeous spread for this shower. Wines, cheeses, meats, crackers, & fruit. They played a few fun games and then opened gifts.

I am so excited to spend the day with them tomorrow!.. Congratulations Sydney & Jim!!

Champêtre County Wedding – Jolene & Jonathan

Meet Jolene & Jonathan.. I could tell right from the get go that I was going to enjoy working with these two. We had such a fun coffee meeting discussing details, I felt like we had known each other for ages!

The day started by taking a leisurely drive 20 minutes west of the city to Champêtre County. It has a saloon (where everyone got ready), a reception area, barns, horses, goats, and more.. They even take you for a carriage ride following the ceremony!! It couldn’t have been more perfect for these country chic wedding.

Jolene looked stunning in her one of a kind dress, designed and hand made my the ladies at Alchemy. Everything was perfect, down to the very last detail.

Miss Alice – Newborn Photographer Saskatoon

Good thing we booked our maternity session when we did because little Miss Alice decided to surprise everyone and arrive quite a few weeks early..

She came perfect and healthy with a full head of beautiful brown hair and of course just the cutest little face.

Saskatoon Maternity & Newborn Photographer – Skye, Luke & Baby Hudsen

I feel like so far in my life one of the greatest feelings is the anticipation of meeting your baby for the first time. In the weeks leading up to the birth we all have the room prepped, “how to” books are read and everything is ready for this babies arrival. I could tell that Skye and Luke felt exactly the same excitement and anticipation. I was so excited to photograph these special moments for them because Skye and I go way back to our care free days of high school.

Our maternity session was a winter wonderland.. I think if my memory serves me correctly it snowed about 2 feet the morning of.

Then we took a few photos of his adorable little nautical bedroom. Just a couple weeks later he made his debut and of course he was just the cutest little guy!! especially when he wears his reading glasses!!
